She and her husband desperately followed their beloved pet using his air ticket with no time to spare. The problem with French

Of course, these dogs are cute like any other dog, but their flat faces and short, wide skulls make it harder for them to breathe. Some breeds that fall into this category are Frenchies, Pugs, and Pekingese.
Unfortunately, this short face is praised at dog shows. Most dog shows focus on the appearance of dogs, regardless of how that appearance affects their health. One example is a French AKC exhibit named Arnie. His nose is so flat that it is barely longer than the rest of his face. He regularly struggled to breathe but still won awards at dog shows and encouraged other people to buy flat dogs.
