The best Shar Pei teddy bears for sale

Meet Tonkey, an adorable teddy bear who looks more like a stuffed animal than a cub. The fluffy bitch is only four months old, but she’s already taken the internet by storm with her silly personality and adorable antics. As young as she is, Tonkey is still learning to climb the stairs, retrieve a ball and enjoy bath time, all of which is captured on her Instagram, thanks to owners Christine Park and her boyfriend, Dave.

For starters, many Shar Peis are wrinkled.

Their skin is almost too big for their body and they have very little fur to cover it. It makes them look pretty silly. As they age, the skin becomes a little tighter. They grow into it somewhat, but still many of the wrinkles remain.

They have fluffy fur that is an inch or longer, making them look like little bears! It only happens when both male and female Shar Pei have a certain recessive gene in their DNA. There is debate as to the origin of the gene, but it is possible that it comes from an earlier association with the Chow Chow breed.

They are talented gun dogs

Boykin Spaniels are talented gun dogs. Whether they are working around a lake, in a swamp or on land, they are skilled at flushing out game and fetching water. They are a popular breed of dog for bird hunters, but also fit in well at home as a beloved family companion.

This dog breed is known for its versatility in the field as well as its eagerness to work. These dogs tend to be efficient and focused when they are at work. These qualities, paired with their hunting dog abilities and cheerful personalities, make them a popular choice for anyone who works or spends time outdoors.

Bear Coat Shar-Pei Price

Prices for these adorable puppies range from $800 to $2,000. You might find one for less, but that’s unlikely.

These bears love to be outside

Although they are not suitable for running, thanks to their respiratory problems, Bear Coats love to be outside and go for walks with their owners. This is also something that is needed regularly as exercise is important to keep them healthy and happy. They love to be kept busy but their exercise needs are not demanding, thankfully, and they will do well in urban areas.

They need at least an hour of exercise a day to stay in good shape but a brisk walk here and there with some time to run around in the backyard will do just fine. Unless you have trained them well, they are not the best in kennels, so this should be avoided. As long as you give them a daily dose of entertainment, they’ll happily hang out next to you.
